“Strong business sense married with writing that sparkles.”

When I was building my team, I was looking for very smart, strategic, senior writers who could hang. With so many projects going on and so many things changing on a daily basis, I knew I wasn’t going to have much bandwidth for day-to-day project oversight. So I wanted a writer who could ask all the right questions and figure out a bunch of creative ways to solve problems with minimal guidance—that’s Erin.

Someone who clearly loves writing—and is really effing good at it— but also, has a strong business sense. The writing has to be awesome, that’s a given. But it also has to be effective and get the marketers what they want, which requires an understanding of KPIs and business objectives. I remember her asking me a question about scalability during our first phone call and I was like, She totally gets it.

But most importantly, I always look for writers who have sparkle. That hard-to-define, know-it-when-I-see-it quality that drives recruiters crazy when they’re helping me with a job req. Erin’s writing has personality and warmth. She talks to “audiences” like people, which makes the copy engaging and relatable. When recruiting sent me Erin’s portfolio, I sent the samples to the team and said, “there it is!” Erin is wonderful.

“Best. Money. Spent.”

Erin is beyond amazing at creating a professional identity that sounds like you. Her writing and humor helped me shape so many ideas and turn them into lively, fun, and compelling copy that has become hugely profitable. If you want copy for your business that will turn customers into buyers, She's simply the BEST, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. In three simple words: Best. Money. Spent.

“Erin was vital to the success of our program launch.”

Erin was amazing—she jumped in during a hectic time and managed a huge workload for our email communications. Erin is truly an asset and was vital to the success of our program launch. Other teams at Starbucks noticed how great she is and made many, many comments about her to me. THANK YOU, Erin for all of your very hard, very detailed work.

“I can finally describe what I do in a way that makes people want to buy.”

Working with Erin was validating—it felt like she was helping me to wordsmith rather than put words in my mouth. I know my business, but she knows language—the dovetailing of those two is a kind of alchemy that Erin gives time and space for. For the first time since 2017, I can actually describe what I do in a way that makes people want to buy my shizzle. Erin zoomed right and then zoomed out to help me describe my work. Her questions are incisive and precise—she helped me distill and dissect my copy so I could build back better (Thanks, Joe Biden!). Erin is genuinely interested and curious. She truly wants to know you and your business well—and the copy reflects that.

“People always compliment us on our copy.”

I loved working with Erin! It was a very hands-on experience—she immersed herself in our brand for the sake of understanding us fully. It was wonderful. Other copywriters I’ve hired have gotten the base info, run with it, and handed us a half-assed project. Erin used her whole ass (and her heart, too). We have amazing visual design at our company, but since working with Erin, our copywriting is always complimented first.”

“You know she can master anything.”

Erin has an insatiable curiosity that pushes her to dive deep into it whatever I throw at her—no matter how targeted, industry-specific, or technical—and has the sort of mindset where you know she can master anything. She continually asks thoughtful questions and makes recommendations about how information could be better organized or reframed. It’s clear that Erin’s not just trying to get from point A to B in as direct a line as possible, but that she’s trying to really understand the topic she’s writing about and to produce the best work possible for her clients.
